About me
My Journey
I became passionate about achieving a healthy lifestyle through personal circumstances.
I lost my mother to cervical cancer at the age of seven. Years later both of my paternal uncles died from cancer. But it was my father's battle with colon cancer in 2008 that truly propelled me into action.
Instead of living in fear, I made a conscious decision to transform my habits and focus on disease prevention and total body health.
I realized I also had to stop the yo-yo dieting, but I didn't know where to start. So I embarked on a journey of education and self-discovery.
Despite completing an MBA, I realized there was a significant gap in my knowledge regarding health and wellness.
This led me to pursue further education, immersing myself in courses on nutrition, disease prevention, exercise science, and weight management.
As I delved deeper into the science of female hormonal health, microbiome and functional medicine, I discovered a newfound passion for helping others achieve optimal health.
In 2017 I got certified at Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, an accredited and approved program, as a Health Coach. And since then I helped hundreds of women like yourself to gain the control of their health.
My Expertise
In addition to my foundational certification from the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, I obtained a Master Health Coach certification, further solidifying my commitment to excellence in the field of health and wellness.
In 2023 I've become Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. The National Board Certification credential (NBC-HWC) represents the profession’s highest standard.
As a National Board certified, bilingual Health Coach with 7 years of experience, I specialize in behavior change, chronic disease prevention, nutrition, and exercise.
Utilizing key skills such as the Trans-Theoretical Model of Behavior Change, Motivational Interviewing, Appreciative Inquiry, Compassionate Communication, and Positive Psychology, I've conducted over 250 coaching sessions in 2023 alone.
As your health coach, my approach is rooted in compassion, understanding, and personalized guidance.
I believe in creating a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can openly share your health concerns and aspirations.
Our journey together begins with a comprehensive assessment of your health history, habits, and goals, allowing me to gain insight into your individual needs and challenges.
I am committed to empowering you with the knowledge, tools, and support necessary to make sustainable lifestyle changes that promote long-term health and well-being.
Through a combination of practical strategies, and ongoing encouragement, we work together to address your concerns, overcome obstacles, and achieve meaningful results.
My Approach
How can I help you as a Health Coach?
Can you think of a time when you felt very strongly about wanting to do something, you started the process and then all of a sudden, you feel you’re getting nowhere? Sounds familiar?
My role as a health coach is to help you stay on track with your goals: whatever they may be. When you first come on as a client, we talk in detail about your health history, your habits & routines to understand where you currently are and what concerns you have.
I create a safe space for you to talk about your health concerns and help you set goals for whatever long term positive health changes you seek via good advice, support and motivation.
I become embedded in your day-to-day life and routines by guiding you through not only food concerns, but other areas of life as well. Through our sessions, together we discover a variety of different tools and practices that can take you closer towards your goal.
It’s really about finding tangible, step-by-step tips to deal with your concerns. Oftentimes, when we are so wrapped up in our day-to-day routine, it’s harder to see simple solutions to problems we’ve been dealing with for a long time.
We all know that we should drink more water, eat more whole foods, cut out refined sugar and stay away from processed foods as much as possible. These things seem simple to some but in practice, they often take a support system to implement.
We all need to start somewhere. Small steps can lead to big change, and I am there every step of the way to empower you to make those changes and help you feel in control of your health again.
Living a healthy life can be easy when you know how.
Let me help you to achieve it.
In your words

I was over 200 lb when I started working with Vered in October 2020, I have lost just under 13 lb in the first month and 28.5 lb overall. I also discovered many 'new' foods which are now every day items. Vered also helped me to find suitable gentle exercise routines to back up the food changes. I'm really happy with the results so far and am feeling a lot better in myself. I still have a way to go but for now it's so far so good. Thank you Vered!

At the beginning of 2021 I had a sprain ligament and my doctor advise was to lose weight if I wanted a speedy recovery. I also had bad period pain and was diagnosed with a 3 centimeters fibroid.
I am profoundly proud to say that my discipline and commitment to my heath has paid off. Now after 4 months I have lost 20 pounds: I went down to 152 lb and I am now fibroid free, and my leg is 97% better.
WOW! Life feels Super Incredible now….

I have recently completed 6 weeks of health coaching with Vered. Thank you so much Vered for your professional advice, support and encouragement. It has been so helpful to have another pair of eyes look at my eating habits and exercise routines. I have lost weight, am sleeping better and generally have more energy, all through making small changes and adjustments suggested by Vered. I feel very positive about being able to maintain my new routines and habits and I highly recommend my health coach Vered.
