As you reach your mid 30s and beyond, you may begin to notice changes in your body and overall well-being. These changes could be early signs of perimenopause, a transitional period leading up to menopause that typically lasts 4 to 7 years.
During this time, the body gradually produces less progesterone and estrogen, causing various physical and emotional symptoms. While hot flashes, night sweats, and irregular periods are well-known, perimenopause encompasses a far broader range of experiences. Understanding these symptoms can help you navigate this stage of life with greater awareness and preparation.
